The Eastern PA CoC is soliciting applications for construction, acquisition, or rehabilitation of new Permanent Supportive Housing units under HUD's CoCBuilds NOFO (PSH NOFO).
The Eastern PA CoC covers 33 counties in Eastern Pennsylvania. The Eastern PA CoC will accept applications for projects in any of following counties: Adams, Bedford, Blair, Bradford, Cambria, Carbon, Centre, Clinton, Columbia, Cumberland, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lebanon, Lehigh, Lycoming, Mifflin, Monroe, Montour, Northampton, Northumberland, Perry, Pike, Schuylkill, Snyder, Somerset, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Union, Wayne, Wyoming
Background:
In July 2024, HUD released the CoCBuilds Notice of Funding Opportunity (CoCBuilds NOFO). This is a first-of-its-kind funding opportunity for new construction, acquisition, or rehabilitation of permanent supportive housing. Through one-time awards under the CoC program, this NOFO will enable communities to develop new units of rental housing with supportive services for people experiencing homelessness.
The Eastern PA CoC is soliciting applications to develop new units of Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH). The CoC will select one (1) project to submit to HUD for funding consideration through this opportunity (maximum project budget: $7.5M).
